New on the History channel tonight and 8:00 pm.... Thought maybe you guys would want to check it out.... Enjoy!....
Thanks for the tip, Deuces. History Channel has been running good stuff as of late. Can't say the same for MAVTV, rerunning Ian Russel's kit car show into the ground.
Caution: The actual title for tonight's program includes both hotrods and muscle cars. Those that are allergic to muscle cars may experience a desire to hit the report button or attempt to delete the program. If such desires exists for more than four hours see a psychiatrist or a used car dealer immediately.
Unfortunately the editing is pretty sloppy. Lots of pictures of cars that don't match the narrating, lots of erroneous information. Still, it's interesting enough, but if you're a car guy you'll be yelling at your TV.
I worked for Pontiac Dealer in '60. They did not ship 421 SD motors in a crate to customers. And yes the editing is quite a bit sloppy
Hilborn deserved the tribute, but so many others did, too, but weren't mentioned. Not to nitpick, glad History is doing Car Week.
