Looks like a considerable increase in plenum volume.....I’m gonna go out on a limb here, and guess that big Ol beast will use every bit of that very effectively.

Looks very nice James. Will the hood fit or is a new one in the budget?

So we may have some bad news about the Okie Doker...☹️

Turns out,Jeff’s hectic work schedule prevented him from troubleshooting a miss in that gnarly blower motor,so he had to resort to using professionals to make the deadline.

Turns out,he found these guys in the yellow pages:
    IMG_1467.JPG
Before you jump to conclusions,he assured me they are 100% legit race car mechanics (and cowboys, apparently?)

He called me the next week, beside himself, totally stressed out,as he had dropped by the shop unannounced,to check on their progress, and found the apprentices running around the shop doing this:
    IMG_1463.gif

But his motor was nowhere to be seen!

Turns out, when he finally got one of the little buggers to calm down long enough to string together a coherent sentence,he said “the boss and his brother put the motor in the tractor to see how it worked”.....
    .....Tractor....?

Anybody got a good used blower motor for sale? All Jeff needs is everything between the air cleaners and the pavement....

    Scott

The Shaker ain’t even all the way apart yet....Still gotta get that new pressure plate in,and get the motor and trans back in it.
It’ll happen.Gimme a week or two more, then a couple weekends of testing, and I’ll be ready to cause some trouble.
