    Hey guys.

Does anyone know if there is a reproduction for a 1941 Ford passenger car steering gear box? Or know of someone who rebuilds these? There are lots of people out there who say they can do it but want $$$ to do it. Would feel better having a recommendation from someone who has dealt with them.

I have found the parts necessary for a rebuild thru Kantor. I have not attempted to rebuild a steering box before. How difficult is it?

    Thank you.

  2. A lot easier than rebuilding a transmission. :)

Send a PM to NealinCA and ask if he can rebuild a stock 41 box.

Not much in a steering box. A couple bearing, a couple gears and some shims. Get the parts and rebuild it yourself. It will be a good learning experience! And you will save on shipping.
