Just before the rains came down.

    Hello,

Sometimes it is necessary to move a custom hot rod or truck to a new location. This truck could have been coming from a recently finished build or a touch up, re-do somewhere. It was a pristine Chevy pick up with what my wife described as a beautiful, dark maroon, paint job. Then she said, “It is kind of like a black cherry soda pop.”

My next question was…would you drive around in it? “Most certainly, as it is a finished, cool looking, old truck. I hope it has a v8 and A/C," was her reply.

We were on our way to see our granddaughter, to have more fun this week.

Someone did a terrific build on this great looking truck... It would look nice in our driveway!
The dark maroon one, not that silver, Extra Cab version.

I saw this yesterday on the east side of Joliet, Illinois. I meant to take a pic of the roof
as I think it's silver metalflake but spaced out and forgot.

I'm guessing you don't like this, seeing how raggedy and rusted it is. Thanks for the input.

I seen this truck or Doodlebug on a trailer near my house. Looks like a 28-29 Ford “A”.

    Any body have a educated guess? IMG_0014.JPG IMG_0015.JPG IMG_0016.JPG IMG_0017.JPG IMG_0018.JPG

I couldn't chase, steer and hold the phone all at once to get a better picture. This Hamber NVRRDUNN headed cross town between rain showers in Oregon.

    ^^^Looks familiar.^^^ I'm wondering if that's in Sunnyvale. My B.I.L. lives in
Mountain View and it seems I've seen that car before.

I found that house and car in Google Earth. It's at the corner of East McKinley Avenue and Bayview Avenue. The car shows up in the street view.

  27. Yep, that's where it is. Been watching it in various stages for a couple or 3 years now.
