  1. Hey Scott, sorry man – I thought your New Year post was from a year ago, not today! Carry on.

HAHA! "seemingly militant feminism" LOVE IT! So awesome!

I think about you guys and your little family quite a bit! We're so excited we can hardly contain ourselves. It definitely changes a person's way of thinking... and I'm digging every minute of that change! Thanks man!

HAHA! Dave, I'm just pokin' at ya' buddy. Wish we were going on a slant window outing in our cars. Especially since yours kind of donated a "kidney" to mine. HA!

Congratulations, she looks like a real little sweetheart.
All the best to you and your family in 2018.

I’m sure that eventually you’ll get the car done but I applaud you for knowing what really makes life better and having your priorities figured out.

    Two thumbs up.

  10. I will lay down the gauntlet. Who can finish theirs this year? My goal is to be ready for a local show at the beginning of August. It's been like watching two turtles race.:D

We could probably say 3 turtles if we add my build to the race :D
I’m also planning to be on the road this summer so we shall see :D

  15. Wow Scott, congratulations- she is adorable! Mrs. Yankee and I have had three- our oldest is now 15, then 13, and 9. Being a dad/having a family is awesome, and the time flies- enjoy every minute!

Oh, and our youngest is a girl... a shotgun and a shovel is all you need when she starts dating :D

I can empathize perfectly with a project that takes years longer than you expect -- in my case, even with somebody else doing all work! Great to see your car in 3D, though; that helps keep the vision alive. I hope 2018 is your graduation year!

Happy New Year, and parental congratulations!

  17. I've been watching this build since you started it, family always comes first.

IMHO this has been one of the finest builds on the HAMB, hang in there!

HAHA! Thanks Uncle Vic! Happy New Year, buddy!

    Haha! Awesome! Taking notes! :D

Buddy, YOUR car really turned out great! I've been meaning to talk to you about that. I hope 2018 is at least a year of making a dent. In the mean time, I'll enjoy the continued coverage of your fine automobile. :D Thanks for always inspiring me. I've never forgot your comment about how hard it is to finish when it gets strung out this long. It motivates me every time I think about rather not I can actually go the distance...

Wow! Thank you! I hope it ends well!

GAH! Yeah... that. Volunteer work and a boost for my "nerd side" to keep my mind science inspired. I guess I'll post pictures of really big time machines, when that happens.

Nope! Can't quit that club! HAHA! Although, I'm WAY out of the loop on my own Hemi Tech Index.

Good news!!! I’m on it!!! The wheels are back in motion with a goal in mind! Parts have been showing up and I’m going to be juggling the work in around family time and my day job!

Stay tuned! Updates coming! Feels good to say that!

Yeah, did a bunch of dirty work this weekend! But made some progress. Nothing worth posting, just yet! I also need to start a new account for hosting, since PhotoBucket decided to single handedly destroy the internet...

The banger project has actually been sitting on the back burner since about 2009 or so. Been just collecting parts for the roadster that will live around it since we moved to NC, 6 years ago. Almost have a complete roadster piled up. HAHA! That build will be to honor my friend Jimmie, that passed away.

As always, thanks for the kind words! Some visuals coming soon!

  29. Shit now I am going to have to find some time to get more done on mine.
