Fantastic and it sounds great...time to stand a nickel on edge I'd say...onward to the finish line, hopefully a lot smoother than the previous hurdle...what battery all I saw was engine running...;)...good stuff @'52 F-3

Most good guesses, (not sure what ladies Loudbang is hanging out with) It's to mount ignition and light switches, horn and choke below the dash like Stogy said.

Rex approves so far. A little more wittling, then polish....

Ya know I actually thought it was wood but now I see it is aluminum...that beautiful metal that it is...

pea green is on the back burner (and in the background) for another couple days... :(

gotta get my non-Hamb daily driver back on the road. *plus I might swap the removed 5.7 (16 spark plug) HEMI in Pea Green... NOT...

I agree, when I'm motivated I can get a lot done.... BUT the damn remanufactured engine I bought had an issue, they're replacing for free (but I'm still waiting for delivery)

I did get a little done on my dash. Don't think I'll be using the aluminum insert for 5 gauges, I've been looking for something more unique and cooler.

Got a piece of scrap Bronze from my neighbor (thanks Tom)... and a 3/4" oak board for my dash. About 3 hours of cutting and sanding has the dash test fitting good and getting closer. Still need to stain/seal wood and get dash nickel plated.

    thanks for the nice words...
I'm kinda liking myself, plan to cover factory dash with 1/4" foam and leather (gonna use same leather in seats/door panels etc....)

do you like the dark or medium brown?

I think the dark would look better to my eyes. More contrast to the wood.

bought some new gauges, got gas pedal and dash bezel nickel plated... Hard to take a picture to show colors accurate. but these show it pretty well.

Can't wait to wire it up, getting close to first test drive.
