Event Coverage Just get out and drive.....whatever the weather

Went for a drive with a bunch of hard core hot rodders today. Some came down from Red Deer, AB, Some came up from High River, AB. We met in Cochrane, AB and drove up and over the Highwood pass in Kananaskis Country. This is the highest paved road in Canada and tops out at 7239 feet. It can snow there almost any time of the year. You take your chances this late in October. But hey, we Canucks are hard core. And no bugs to clean off when we got home. Ended up in Longview for a bite to eat before everyone scattered and headed for home. Life is good.

I always admire people who actually drive their cars, I know several people who wouldn't get their car out if there was a cloud within 50 miles. My daily driver Model A sits outside and goes no matter the weather. I attached a picture of it at the dam on our local lake when we took the grandkids sledding.

 

No roadsters? HRP

At 24 degrees a little inclement weather didn't stop these roadster guys on the blanket run. HRP

Yes HRP we had one roadster this year, 3 last year. This shot was before we found the snow.

I would expect nothing less than a little snow from the famous b-bop! Nice pictures of what looked like a fine day of cruising!

 

No trailer, because it was a single day run that went in a big circle. Car moves a little quicker without 720 pounds stuck to the back end.
