All days are good but Friday at 11 AM (double check the time) they run the race cars in the stadium. Gives you a chance to rest your aching feet and listen to some vintage sounds!

Man, if you can get to Carlisle, you can get to Hershey. There is absolutely NO comparison and you have to see Hershey to believe it. The chocolate people may have the slogan "the sweetest place on Earth" but the car folks can claim it as well.

I live and hour and 45 minutes north. I'll be there Thursday for the parts and Saturday for the cars. Already have my rainsuit packed. :)

No,no. It's like taking your umbrella-if you have it, it won't rain. Although it is Hershey-sooner or later it rains. Central PA in October, you'd best be ready for anything, weather-wise.

BTW, please take change and tip the port-a-potty folks. They do a great job and, I am sure, could really use the money and the thanks. How cheap do you have to be to not leave a quarter? But, I see it all the time.

^^^ I hear ya.Best to be over prepared! The john set up is good. You wont be using a smelly hut that hasnt been cleaned in four days and has just baked in the sun. The group of spots around me rent a portojohn, its right at the rear tip of my spot.Hell I can get to that at night in 3 sec.
Everyone has a 1 dollar bill, spend it where it really counts. Nothin like a good lumpy dump to set things right in a clean environment.

I see a trend here, crap to sell, walking starts after it is all gone, eBay and HAMB classifieds get all the good stuff. Bob

    I don't know....
I'm looking for a late 40's to early 50's Ford steering wheel and a similar vintage gauge cluster, neither of which I can find on eBay or HAMB. I'll be searching early Wednesday.

The Early Ford V-8 Foundation Museum will be there with a huge trailer full of NOS early Ford flathead related parts. We also will be selling raffle tickets for a 1939 Mercury that we will be giving away Friday at noon. Come and find out about the Early Ford V-8 Museum. We are expanding the Museum in the style of the original Ford Rotunda as it was built for the 1930's World Expos in Chicago and San Diego. We have been given a collection of 18 Museum ready, 1936 Fords including a stainless steel tudor. Come to CU 70,71,72 and CT70,71,72 in the Chocolate Field next to Dennis Carpenter's set up. Get involved. If you love flatheads, you found the right place. Become a member. Join us! Meet a great bunch of people who are having a whole lot of fun.

  28. No carts allowed..no bicycles allowed, rentals all sold out. So, if you have trouble walking the place too bad.

  29. Hope to meet you this year! C4J 36
