    My guess is this is a pretty wealthy young man. This was a time when most race cars were flat towed, and he has a trailer WITH matching custom wheels AND an over the top paint job. Can't afford all that flippin' burgers!

    I saw a pic here on the HAMB I really need to see again, searched but can't find it. A couple months ago. Guy was on a track in a pre or post war Ford. He was standing up in the windshield space, looking back, one hand on the wheel one hand up in the engine. Ring any bells? Thanks!

    I saw one like that a couple of years ago, Said the throttle linkage broke so he leaned through the windshield to work the carb and came in third, I saved it.... somewhere... I'll post it if I come across it.

  5. Thanks for the kind words guys! I enjoy doing this, my main interest in life is history.
    I wonder about the people in the photos, their lives and times. Their cars are obviously very important to them too.

  6. I had an uncle who raised Herefords, He was a Dodge man, the only car worth buying.
    I loved going to visit, being in the fields in summer, the animals.
    There are of course, still family farms. But still.......

    Count those spark plugs, appears to be a Lincoln V-12.
