    Winner Walt Brown in the Kurtis Kraft entry in the Langhorne pits. This was in 1948 and was his only Championship race win. This is the same car that Johnnie Parsons would drive to his 1950 500 win.

    Notice the masking tape on the side of the car where a ventilation hole was located. It was probably taped up to keep dirt from blowing into the cockpit area. Duct tape didn't come into use until sometime in the 1960s.
