Here ya go, found a pic of this one at least. I put the T-bird bumper on 20 some odd years ago. Car was sold shortly after, supposedly went to the east coast. If anyone knows it's whereabouts I'd like to know. According to NM dmv it's still in my buddy's name!
Had a duel quad Olds in it if that helps.
    Back to grills....

    What a terrific thread ! !

I remember my father bringing home each issue of Rod & Custom and looking at the grill swaps ! It was sort of the best part for me. I could understand them more easily than I could the sunken antennas and frenched tail lights. These modifications were too subtle for my tiny mind, but the grill swap was right there in my face. We would play a game with me trying to guess what car the grill originally came from.

I like this the best of any of them, the 54 Chevy grille would be next IMHO.

  9. Dick, that does look good and uses the stock '54 grille with the center bullet removed.

The wrap around chrome extension pieces on the fenders have been removed and and moved to the inside of the opening,I believe this is the work of Chip Foose. HRP

And most importantly, Lady HRP may approve of this grille modification!

I agree 100%. The KISS approach is tough to beat, especially so with the shoeboxes.

Gorgeous grille. Also looking for that fender trim, 54 mercury trim is it?
