Watched this 1950 released film the other night on TCM. There are a couple of very nice 32 roadsters which are featured. It takes place in the LA area and the vintage scenes and autos are a rare treat. The opening scene is on a dry lakes showing participants at speed. Great stuff. Highly recommended. JWL
Was flipping through channels and found Hot Rod and Hot Rod Gang, watched both of them. Not much plot but enjoyed the cars. Both were in the LA area and full of roadsters, was surprised at the quality of the cars. Didn't do a lot for the reputation of hot rodders since they had street racing but were fun to watch.
I would like to know about the cool single seat car in the opening monologue for the Hot Rod movie it was parked in line behind a 32 that had numbers on the qtr, 375 I think
Hot rodders in the 50's movies were the debbel. Right up there with jitterbug dancers and card sharks.
