I really like the Scottsbluff area . The drive on the other hand is too long! With a 40-50 Mile an hour cross wind it was tiring

Thanks for the compliments on the car!

I probably saw your coupe up there, but didn't recognize it without huge rust holes.

IMG_0269.JPG Unfortunately the trip home from the show was so pleasant, as many of you know that attended the show Saturday afternoon Minneapolis/St Paul had some severe weather.

This is the result of some of that

A large black object fell from an overpass in St. Paul landing on the cowl and roof. Ultimately scratching both .

Hagerty insurance was contacted Monday morning. ATTACH=full]3599892[/ATTACH] IMG_0267.JPG

IMG_0401.JPG IMG_0379.JPG ] Haven't put the hood on the car because I could not find threaded rivet head screws. I've spent hours trying to source these to no avail

Saturday I decided that enough was enough . I bought #8 -32 screws in stainless both truss head and standard

Too start I tig welded the Phillips head .

IMG_0412.JPG IMG_0402.JPG I used 80 and 120 on the grinder and then progressed through the sand paper. I wound up leaving the sandpaper on the roll for support

  26. Your 5 window is unreal, thinking back to where you started. Good job is an understatement

  27. You took it to the right place for sure. Doug does great work & priced right, he done the seat in my 3 window. It is the most comfortable seat of all my deuces.
I really like the way this car turned out....job well done!

    Thanks Dennis

I'm really happy with Doug's work . Ironically it was your seat that lead me to him.
