  4. Acquired some old Drag News from Bob Taylor - he raced about 1958-1975 or so - we meet at the counter at Norma's Cafe in Dallas....just small talk for the most....then one day I spotted a pair of 1958 Chrysler New Yorker's behind an old shop - Bob's) I would latter acquire the shop from Bob - (the 392 New Yorker's were long gone ) along with some - "you want those old magazines" fer sure I do....here's some posts....hope it's okay....

  11. 296 Ardun, my sincere condolences on your loss. These are difficult times no matter how we may prepare for them. So, stay focused and be strong. You will meet up again in a better place, I'm sure. You and your family are in our thots and prayers.

  12. Romeo Palamedies dragster was/is a beautiful car. At one point he ran two 6-71's on the Hemi. It is beautifully restored and sitting in the Justice Brothers Museum.

  19. Thanks Dean - should I being doing the full page picture or the thumb nail ? These survived in a corner of Bob's shop along with some of his old trophy's - he knew they were a little damaged - he thought to toss them out but I said nooo - they still are worth saving....recently had a fire at my old place....so they kinda survived again. Any one that wants or needs a copy - maybe from about 1958 up to about 1965....let me know....free shipping !

  20. Please post the full image size. I would love to have a copy of the issue from '59 with the title "Ivo Easter Winner" and a drawing of Tommy's Buick digger in a giant wheelie head on. Can't remember the exact week, but it would have been early April. That was the first drag race I ever attended. Tommy beat Jim Nelson for TE. It was at old San Gabe.
