Finally got my 63 ford in driver condition. Roadtripped it from SF to flagstaff in January. Dropped a 390 into it in December. Did EFI in February. Doing some more engine upgrades now - and looking at doing paint soon. Are they ever done??

My new wagon wasn't supposed to be a project but it seems I'm spending way more time fixing things than actually driving it, does that count!

Yep, '63 Galaxie Wagon I found in New Mexico. Body and interior restored but found issues when I opened up the engine for a front cover seal replacement. So I did the heads, cam, etc.....kinda snowballed into a larger project then I was anticipating. Oh well...still snow on the ground so might as well do it now. Getting it ready for a Lincoln Highway trip coast to coast with the family this summer. 289, 3spd. Needs different wheels. Any suggestions? 20170219_124219.jpg

I'd run vintage style American Racing grey spoked Torque Thrusts. I put a set on a brown and cream Chevy and they looked great. Of course they are one of my favorite wheels, not many cars look bad with them in my book. Polished version if you want shiny.

My 57 Ranch Wagon project has been on hold for the past month due to painting a 32 Ford chassis for my dad. But I plan on getting back on the 57 in a week or so and start the body and paint work on it...

Here's my '62 Falcon Ratwagon, with 302/C4 combo and all Mustang suspension...gotta replace the fuel tank and rewire the car, but otherwise, she runs great.

I'm thinking about converting her 'theme' to early 60s surf/ho-dad wagon, with vintage window stickers and a longboard.

Here's mine, a very slow work in progress. I'm going for a warmed up banger with a highboy look. I might try to blend the front doors to the cowl.

56 Ranchwagon, not much too show. All disassembled, lots of parts being dipped and waiting for room in tank to get frame and body dipped. Going to be mild custom with a 331 stroker, AOD, A/C, PS, PB, front disc, dropped spindles, so forth and so on. Working on cleaning and painting small parts while waiting for the big parts to get back from getting dipped.

Over the winter I put a rebuilt 390 into this, Holly sniper fuel injection, a new C6 transmission, rebuilt the heater box, and sundry other things.

I've been chasing a steering/handling problem on this car for the last 2 years and finally got that resolved.

I still need to fix the air conditioning and now I'm looking at doing a stroker kit to make this a 445. #sleeperwagon

    Hey HRN,
Nice photos and build on that wagon...but, is this a future build 8/03/17?
Either that or your camera is way off due to daylight savings time everywhere or something is not right on the settings...

I have always liked the Willys wagon and thought it would look cool lowered with a slight rake. Yrmv

Hey Cam, I had a 64 Chevelle 2 door wagon years ago.
More than a couple times people would say "that must have been a lot of work turning a four door into a two door", only a few thousand of them made, many never knew they existed.
What's the history on yours, just wonder'n.
