I got this 53 331 Hemi with everything listed above. He had the work done to it back in 1961. Then stowed it in his basement ever since. I picked it up to sell and hope to put a little money into my project. Can't figure out how to post in the classifieds. Asking $600.00 obo for what I've got. No doubt this will be flagged and moved but for now... Do you have the bottom half of the bell ?? (the part that mounts the starter) Without the that piece you will struggle to sell the block for much and be advised that the crank is 'special' for the 51-53 blocks, so it will also have limited appeal. .
Thanks for the info, I tried to post in the classifieds. But was not able to. I don't have the bottom part of the bell. Got it with an adapter to early ford tranny. Not sure if the starter is supposed to bolt to the adapter or not. I am unfamiliar with these engines. Picked it up at the right price to try to make a little bit on.
