No. I don't need any junk, lawnmowers, broken chain saws, or used housewares.

Are we oldies a really, really small % of the membership here, or are most oldies just keeping quiet about their oldie status?

Thanks. I've owned the car 45 years - since I was 18 years old and working at our local Ford dealer.

  15. 10 pages in 4 days and considering that a bunch of people don't post a lot. I would say you guys are the majority. That's not a bad thing mind you.

According to my pedometer app, I did 17 miles of walking (over 51,000 steps) at Hershey this year.

  18. Go back to page 7, post # 182.
It was there that I listed the age groups, for those over 62, who replied to the first 181 posts of this thread.
    Interesting results, I thought.

I will turn 75 on the 1st of next month. I'm still going strong, riding my new bike and working on the Buick.

I'll be 81 in Dec., still driving my chopped 37 Terraplane and working on a 37 Dodge Canopy Express, very slow though. Started building my first hot rod, a chopped channeled model A in "53". Where did the time go? Having fun with cars keeps you young.

    Hello,

It was1968 and those were the best of times for us, but the worst of times for the USA and the world. Turbulent times offset by tranquility in our very small, cool, apartment. Low paying jobs, happy little dog, cozy apartment with a garage, new camera, and nice cars…etc.

Not looking ahead to old age…but time marched on too fast. Although, those early times still keeps us alive and well.

Weeks away from my 76 th. Birthday
I'm still wondering how I made it this
far. The good news is, I just ended a
    12 year search for a ' 27 Ford body, a
metal front half of a touring body.
The lack of a real Ford body has had me stalled for a while. The frame and running gear have been done for a
couple of years now. I just couldn't
bring myself to use the very old and
flimsy ( no wood ) glass body I have.
The best thing is , I can move on to
    finishing my lakes modified dream.

    ......... Jack

  30. If I saw those numbers on my pedometer, that alone would be enough to make my knees hurt.
