Yes, there is a swap meet at the show. Also, many cool hot rod artists set up in the buildings selling their goods.
...we'll be checking in swapmeet vendors Friday @ 9AM til bout dark,...or very early Sat AM...only vintage auto related parts, prefer pre 70's stuff please, no new parts. ...great turnout last year, spaces are $30 each. ...bringin these Buick wheelcovers ...$40 for the set, look me up at the swapmeet main gate. .

You know how you will hear an old song and you are instantly return in your mind to the time and place of what was going on in your life.....well Russco, that's what your '40 just did to me. Back in 1964 when I was 15, a surf bum and living in Cal, there was a paint and body shop I used to go by on my way to and from the beach. There on the edge of that lot sat a '40 coupe exactly the same color as yours....... The trim had not been put back on and no interior yet. Someone was doing a really nice Hot Rod. It was there what seemed like a long time as I passed by it many days. Boy how I dreamt about owning that car. Wonder what happened to it! So Russco, as Bob Hope sang "Thanks for the memories!"
