  2. Don't know about the car but, that sure looks like Mr. Gejeian's pal, Amos Torosian.

  4. That was my first guess too ... but Amos passed away in 2009 ... and the Reddit poster (pjsol) stated that his/her father is still alive (currently 88 years old).

Hey Ryan, I have to say I really appreciate your interest, and dedication to these old Hot Rods.
I called the old Hot Rod Gurus in Fresno, no one remembers a yellow 32 running around
in the early 50's. These are all good friends of Blackie's, it's to bad we can no longer ask him
in person. I think the car is from southern cal. Looks like a copy of my roadster, with the
exception of the head light stands. The windshield has a roadster decal, and the guy has a t-
shirt with a name on it. The rail fence in the back ground, and the partially errected Tee Pee
leads me to believe this is a Boy Scout camp somewhere. At any rate this is a really nice car.

On a side note, when I called Fresno this morning, the guys said they were on their way to
look at an old 32 roadster hot rod that had been unearthed after 30+ years.....

When did California enact their tall headlight laws? This roadster was obviously built before that. Or maybe just a law breaker.

Yeah, it's a Out Law, no rear view mirror, no wind shield wiper, and the wind shield frame
is reversed so that the wiper holes a on the passenger side......

Nobey: Call Morris Srabian, (original owner of the 'Wild Kat') Morris was good friends with Blackie, Chuck Krikorian, and others...plus, he was kind of a 'hot rod historian'.

Thanks Mike it's worth a try. I started out by calling Dick Baskin in Fresno. He knows every 32 that
ever moved in town, he was exsited and wanted to know more about the car, I told him all we have
to go on is a photo Ryan posted. Then I called Art Voorhies, he ran Eddy's speed shop for many
years, now he's in the T-shird business, used to make all the T's for Vern Tardel, anyway no luck.
Then I tried Marsh Runyon, He's currently under the weather. None of these guys are on the net,
I'll have to take a copy of the car to show them next week. I love doing Hot Rod searches, sometimes
you get lucky, it get harder though as time passes, many of the old guys have gone.

Thats it, didn't take very long Thanks Guys. My roadster is in this same issue on page 53.
Bert Mouron bought it, added fenders and a hood, painted it blue......

  13. From the May 1952 Hot Rod Mag NRS (gnrs) coverage.

I am quite certain this is the same roadster in the foreground.

This is remarkable, I read a post about an old rod from the 1950's, and come back a few hours later and it has been identified. The Hamb is just amazing.

Hmmm. I wonder if the car was passed around the Fresno area for years, and ended up in Charlie Lambeteccio`s garage....If so, it`s the one that my old boss Donn Lowe reworked, owned for years now by a fellow in SoCal...
