It was an owner built car from Port Arthur, Texas. The owners name was Bucky Ketcherside. Car had a Rochester fuel injected 327 and a 4 speed.... Wonder where it is today?

Whew, I've been away from the HAMB too long. Stanlow69 told me about the "whatever happened to... ?" thread and that I should check it out. I was able to contribute to it with a 3 year old picture of Jon Gullett's 50 Ford coupe.

Then I found this thread and have been going though it page by page over the last two days. I think I was on the verge of going cross-eyed last night before it was sleepy time. Memory must be getting bad because I found that I had actually asked a question back on page 18, then I must have fallen off the edge of the map. Well, I got married and have been busy spending time with my new family and settling in a different home.

So moving caused me to organize 25 years of stuff and all my shoeboxes of photos ended up in a couple of plastic totes. Started sorting through and reliving memories and had a moment of inspiration from Jim, (Stanlow69) You see, he has the walls of his upholstery shop "papered" with all the photos of kustoms he has taken since going to cars shows with his Dad. Its nice, cuz he can enjoy them everyday he works in the shop.

I haven't found the space yet to display mine like that, but did start pulling all the kustom car pics and putting them in one stack. Probably 700 or so. It's going to take a while to digitize them all, but I do intend to post them here as I go, editing for obvious repeats and making a short comment of memory of where-photographed and possible owner name. I'm NO WHERE near as good as that as Jim Stanley. He has a mind like a steel trap when it comes to kustoms.

Now, Jim, a challenge to you. Do you think you could maybe pull about 5 or 10 pictures at a time from your Wall of Fame, scan them, and post them? You got some kooool stuff and the kustom knowledge to go with it. I know other HAMB'ers would appreciate

  15. Moriarty, the last few show a nice group of Wichita area cars!
When will someone repop U.S. Royal Masters?

54delray, there are many of us who would appreciate you posting your photos. The details aren't a must, so don't worry about what you don't remember.

Jim, we would like to see your photos as well if at all possible.

I got a new laptop and the printer/scanner won`t connect to the laptop. I know yery little about computers and how they work. I`ll try and get somebody to figure it out for me. Keep on bugging me about this. I have at least 6000 pics of customs dating back to the early 80`s. I`ve taken over 900 pictures at the Custom Car Revival the last 3 years. Not to mention I have a large magazine collection. It`s rare that you can find somebody to talk customs with and be on the same wave length. I try and pick their brains about cars from their neck of the woods. You learn real quick how much they know. Thanks Bill. He is a diehard custom fan.

Be sure to have them show you the best way to scan one pic at a time, and at a proper resolution.
