BGII is on the trailer, the truck is loaded and hooked to the trailer. All I gotta do is pack a few clothes in a bag along with my toothbrush, etc. and head out in the AM.

  16. Andy, I made them reflective this year. I think a few Nuts got lost on the 3am Johnny House run last year. Just take a flashlight a shine it down the fence line...

Steel in Motion is quickly becoming the "Too Big For Union County Dragway meet" :D

This is from the top end of the track back towards the front at ~10:30AM this morning:

So awesome to see a show that "gets it" do so well . . . so hats off to Curtis and the Geargoyles CC for doing the prep and leg work to make this thing work every year and the track/crew for having the track surface on kill.

Now for my crap pictures on my potato phone before the heavy hitters get back and edit theirs :D

  28. Had a blast! My second year, Definitely yearly from now on. Gotta find some helper springs and a sway bar for the back of the truck though. I think I did a million little burnouts every time I hit a big bump on 85/77...and there are a bunch of them in a lowered truck. That's what I get for trying to load up for comfort camping. The full Yeti didn't help much either. But a good, non eventful trip from Roanoke to Union and back.
The show tripled in size of crowd since last year!
