Shitty iPhone photo of an area still being worked on... Hard to photograph.

The old car really started to take shape today... I just love her personality...

    Perfect.

To bad it is not traditional, or period correct or a hot rod. ;)

Seriously though that stance is right on. (And I need to figure out how to replicate it on mine)

It actually does have a pretty sinister side to it... I think more so once the a-shell, hood, and good sides are on it.

I think the front will come down another inch maybe inch and a half once the motor goes in.

I'm loving the contrast of the new and fresh mechanicals against the old paint.

Man, when the tire/wheel fits a 28/29 front fender like that, there is nothing sexier!

Here's the part in any good reality show where we have some drama. You guys are filming on your end right?

So the buyer calls the engine builder today. "I have a one way ticket to Austin in two weeks. Where's my engine?" They tell me it will ship in the morning.

Love this car. You guys aren't trying to reinvent the wheel; just a clean, simple, perfectly executed hot rod. I wish it was mine.

I called back and paid extra to get it shipped to Austin by Tuesday. I am buying this car. I'm heading to the Roundup. I plan to drive it back to Arkansas.

It sure doesn't look like we will. Lock to lock, there's still tons of room for suspension travel.

If your turning and it's bouncing, they could rub a bit on the fender braces, but it's nothing to worry about.

Did he rebuild the box? There's some pretty good books out there to help with that sort of thing. ;)

Oh I still love that little RPU, but "project" is the key word there. I want something to drive right away. We can blame it on my trophy wife. I had to spend the money before she spent it on baby clothes and home decor.

  28. Is it a front porch or a back porch? ;)

Excellent project. The look and stance are perfect. That is the same plan for my '29. I Also am going with fenders. Is the roof filled and covered or still stock? I thought about filling mine but don't want the street rod look. Great post, Thanks. 100_0500_edited.JPG
