Are you all sick of 34's yet? Here is a couple shots of my latest. Still needs finishing but I'm just going to enjoy it for the summer and worry about the rest next winter.
I did a triangulated 4 link with quarter elliptic springs for the lower links. It's a really nice handling car.
Very cool.. I especially like the small block Ford power and triangulated quarter elliptical rear suspension. Both of which I'm also running in my Model A Roadster.
Ha no. I have a bunch of different stuff in my head. No sense in duplicating. The 4bt model a now lives in the Portland area with another hamber. That was also a fun car.
Thanks, yes. I don't feel the need to hide the disk brakes, but I'm not opposed to making them look better. This engine just kind of fell into my lap, but I'm happy with it. The HEI and yellow wires are already starting to grate on me. It works good for now though.
Are those door poppers on the front of the door. What am I looking at there? Sweet little hot rod you built.
Thanks guys. I'm still going to paint it the blue/green color I did on the dash and I want to get some better looking threads on the mini van seat. The hood is primed, but the body is just scuffed gel coat. I'm thinking these things are going to wait until next winter.
rear bar only. Contrary to popular belief, I haven't died yet. And you can throw the car into corners much harder and faster than you should on the street.
Yeah I've always read if your going to run only one make it the front and that if front and back the front should be bigger. I'm sure with so many suspension variables every car will act different. I was actualy curious because I've been looking for a way to run one on the front. But just to calm every ones nerves can you check your pulse and make sure your really not dead?
Crusty...a couple of questions. What brand of glass body is that? I see your pedals; gas is 'LOWER', and what does the brake pedal say? Looks like 'DAISY'? What are they from? Nice looking '34 BTW.
The body is a N and N out of Arkansas. The pedals say raise and lower. They came off of some type of old medical equipment, but the verbiage seemed appropriate. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Very sweet '34, LOVE the Lincoln buttons!!! @Tim, are you talking about 'anti-roll' bars? Or panhard rods? (I never run either on hot rods, and I was a devil on wheels on the streets...No body roll, handled well enough that I was never caught!
