Here are some pics from the local cruise in this past Saturday.
It was threatening rain so quite a few people didn't show up.
If any of you guys are here in the Chattanooga area the 2nd Saturday of November they are going to have one more cruise in for the year to make up for 1 that got rained out earlier in the year.

We also went out for Pizza and I don't have those pics they are on my wife's phone I will post them up later
This guy I worked with for the last 10 years. He just retired and he said "Working is way over rated".
Loved the little Shoebox This little Malibu SS belongs to my cousins husband. He has owned it since I was a kid. The little 40 coupe belongs to a Buddy of mine

Well I got some good news today. They are going to finally replace my knee the 14th of December.
That means I need to get some of the hard stuff done on the Vette so I can just peck around on it while I am recuperating.

I HEARD THAT I FIGURED I WOULD GET IT DONE AND GET ON THE MEND, I WOULD ALSO BE ABLE TO STAY HOME WITH THE KIDS DURING THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY. WE WON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT KID CARE.

maybe you guys could answer a question for me. I was wondering if you guys knew the carb number for the Carter WCFB carbs that came on the factory dual carb set ups. There is a parts place that is going out of business and I thought I might try to buy up some kits for stuff I am planning on having in the future.

I will be posting this in a few places on here.

 

I answered in two other places, so I might as well answer it here, too. It depends on what year and horsepower rating you are looking for. The '61 Vette 283/270hp is carb #3182S on the front (2nd design) and carb #2614S on the rear. That's the latest and greatest offering in addition to being the engine I'm building for my coupe.

My wife's grandma is going to her final resting place today. They are taking her in this Packard hearse. It has been in service at the funeral home for the last 6 months. It has a brand new LS with 525 horsepower. When you have to leave that would be a pretty cool last ride. She was 24 days away from being 96 years old. We will miss you Bertie "Mamaw" Murray.

They also said that they are currently having an early 50s caddy limo redone right now.
The name of the funeral home is Peeples funeral home in Dalton Ga.

Went to Dayton Tn today for a little benefit swap meet. I sold a little bit but I didn't buy anything. There was a set of M/T valve covers I was going to buy but the guy got gone before I got back over there.This was to help raise money for this family that had the cutest little girl that was maybe 3 that had a brain tumor right now I believe she was going thru Chemo.
It kind of puts things in perspective. I had to give my kids an extra big hug today.
We loaded some stuff up in the wagon and rode over there.

I would like to thank Tommey Lee Byrd for inviting us there.

Well today is a milestone I never thought I would make.
Today I am 50

 

Happy Birthday enloe and best of wishes with your upcoming surgery. Heal quick and maybe 2016 is the year that you will get to go to car shows with your son in the Corvette.
