this is a tough choice! should the vote be, for the most technical? the idea that i learned the most from? the tip that would be the most useful? or the tip that i will would save the most money? hmmmm.......
I guess ive been around long enough where i should know but how does one vote for a tech week entry? Thanks
First page- top of message board- voting begins thread Listed are entries click on bubble next to mine and submit then tell all your friends to do the same Thanx
They should leave the next presidential elections to the HAMB, we couldn't do worse than the electorate college and the winners here have actual talent and skills.
Well fellas we are going to need a few more votes if we are going to make this thing fly. Don't make me stat a shame thread.
Just voted. The rules as posted in the other thread state: Rules are simple; include the words "tech week" in the title of your thread and only new un-previously posted stuff valid for this round http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/october-2015-tech-week-is-on.992359/ Yet the drip rail fix was posted almost 10 years ago, and referenced numerous times since. I'm not involved in this, and nothing against HRP (if he indeed did that work, not sure), but I feel sorry for the guys who put something together just for this competition. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/a-simple-fix-for-a-stupid-mistake.146469/
We had a federal election last night. During the last one in 2011, there were some "questions" about some of the things that happened leading up to the election... and also on voting day.
For your information,My pal Dave and I did all the work,I'm not quiet sure why you would question that. I didn't see where our submission could not be previously posted but going back and reading the rules I am sending Paul a conversation and asking him to remove my submission for tech week. I do hope this makes you feel better. HRP
some of us are still trying to decide which thread we want to vote for. I narrowed it down to two early on, but it got real tough after that. Maybe I'll flip a coin...
"I'm not quiet sure why you would question that." Didn't recognize you in the photos. Sorry. Well HRP has now labeled me a "complainer" via PM. I'm just trying to stand up for the guys who read the rules and tried hard to do something for this Tech Week thing. There are many fantastic tech threads of old on the HAMB that I would vote for were they eligible.
My conversation to both Paul & blowby..verbatim Paul,it was pointed out to me that the tech week submissions are required to be new and nothing previously posted,I posted my thread several years ago,not as a tech but as a how to thread. I am told I violated the rules of this tech week and in doing so I have kept others from get their fair share of votes. To keep peace, how about deleting my thread from the running. hopefully that will pacify the complainer. Danny
