will have to add my old hot rod to this post. 31 chev, buick v6 350 trans, painted 82 Lincoln town car pouter gray, wish I had it back!!!
-------------a boner--- Speaking of ^^^^this car makes the front of my pants feel funny. Man do I like this car. The grille, not so much. Yes, I know, when I build a car, I can do anything I want to it. My apologies to the owner for being so bold.
This car was at the Louisville Nats. I would love to see some more pics of this car if any has any. Thanks.
Thanks for the link. Found a very good pic of that and yes it's more of an off white. Still a nice color combo.
I could find out the exact color for you if you really need it. The guy that owns it is a friend of mine. He's in his late 70's, ex bonnieville racer etc. His son is on the Hamb. Let me know. BTW...the car is for sale. Tim
Here's one I posted earlier while still in the paint booth. Finally on the road. Pics were taken within minutes of each other but as the clouds passed by, the paint darkens up quite a bit.
Tim [here on the HAMB] and I drove my buddy, Tom's 56 F-100 to BTT50s one year to sell for him.....it was painted in Ford dove gray..very understated and classy. I only wish I would have been able to afford to buy it.
...none mine, just pics of colors I like & saved for future reference, some might be out of gray, grey, & into tans, greenish gray?
I sprayed my grill shell just to test the colors. I'm really liking the Gray with the Black chassis & Maroon wheels. I'm thinking of doing the Bluish/Gray color that Jeep has called, "Anvil"
