This pic has been around for several years. At least it's easier to identify the year and make.... savoy3.jpg

The front bumper told me it was 41-7 Cadillac. Same rear axle too. That looks like a sci-fi scene from a B movie of the times too. Spooky and well photographed.

I'm going to say, '52-54 Pontiac. Looking at what was left of the suspension and the brakes. The trim above the door handle and the handle itself look like Pontiac.
    It's still anyone's guess though,

  9. Either that's an enchanted forest or you have some pretty bad ass trees in your neck of the woods.

Retired trees from the Wizard of Oz. Damn things gave me nightmares as a kid...not to mention the flyin' monkeys.

7 leafs in the rear spring pack (no pun there). I agree on the front suspension being Olds/Pont/Buick/Caddy; it is't Chevrolet. Did someone already guess woodie? I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

  15. 50s Pontiacs had the two bolts holding the drums on to the axle flange as per the photo. I'm going with 53-54 Pontiac catalina hardtop [stainless above the door handle] What did I win?

I`ve seen cars with trees growing through them but this is going to the next extreme.

I remember seeing an old B-movie when I was a kid about trees coming to life and killing people, can`t remember the name at the moment.

We know you still care or you wouldn't keep checking.
I think hootsky figured it out himself. As far as extra chrome it's there at the top right of the photo which would be the belt line chrome upside right on the 51 Olds.

  24. This did come from a tree hugger state right?

How about this '50 Futuramic 88? Hard to see if there's a extra belt of chrome on top of the belt of chrome above the door handle.

Wasn't Jimmy Hoffa's last ride a Pontiac or an Olds?
