Traditional customs and traditional hot rods are both included in the HAMB section.

  5. I like the stance/rake of my avatar, slightly down in the front. DSCN9463.JPG .

I deleted my photo's and comments, since I obviously posted my car on hallowed ground. HRP

You know, HRP, I don't think you can claim this as just a Carolina rake. It appears to be an international thing. Your wife's Ranch Wagon is REALLY bitchin'. The car, the car, not her ! !

    Hi Ed

Now that square bird is setting ' Perfect ' being a tick lower in the front, and with the period perfect Dodge Lancer caps

That beauty is spot on the money, just look what Larry started with his trick paint jobs

Could not be any nicer than this bird is ' Priceless '

  12. I agree I always prefer the cars that I drive to be a little down in the snout. No pics but it has always been my personal preference on most cars. I say most because some cars look better setting level.

BTW when I was a little kid in the Bay Area my dad and his friends called it a Hollywood Rake. :)

Ed not only posted a perfect example of the proper stance but also that paint job is to die for. ;)

Very, very nice 56! I guess this is a good time to share mine as well then. It's not as low as yours, yet.

  30. Nice ride and perfect place for a pic. I used to swim there when I was a little kid. Just a few steps away from fort point.

I agree, just a paint job away from hot rod or custom. as it is, it is as nice as a Jalopy gets.

I would have hated to see that car when I was leaving Leary's place in Berkley. That is one busy paint job. Someone worked their ass off on that one. And the stance is about as good as it gets for a '57 Ford.
