Thanks for the interest! 47Plym-it's a Dodge. Kirkwood's pretty close, what's it cost to have lunch in Rolla?
Very nice ride ! What mods did you do to the suspension ? Looks very smooth...hope to see it at shows around the area this year !!! Jonnie www.legends.thewwbc,net
" what's it cost to have lunch in Rolla?" I imagine the cost is simply whatever you order......I don't think it's an organized event with admission. The second day they will leave Springfield and pass through some part of Joplin......presumably on the old historic Rt 66 which goes through the downtown area. If not, they will at least be on I44 at the south edge of town.
Has a somewhat "cartoon-ish" look to it. And I say that with the utmost respect. Very cool and unusual Custom. All these era Chrysler products seem to take an undeserved back seat, to Ford and Merc's. JT
Johnny, I notched the rear frame section and used a ford rear end with new 3" de-arched leaves. Right now if I remember, it has a 2" block under there too. The front is an s-10 subframe from the firewall forward. I wanted to keep the original stuff but I couldn't afford to replace everything that was bad so I opted to go cheap and easy. I stepped the frame while I was at it. It rides great and everything like exhaust, tank, oil pans etc. are above the bottom of the frame so if I do scrape occasionally nothing gets destroyed. The grill I made from 1"x 3" boxed tubing. I wanted a 48 Caddy grill but I could not find one in good shape that was affordable so I made this instead and I am happy I did. I had it plated at St.Louis Plating. I'll try to get a better pic of it . Dave those are the Lions I bought from you a while back. Best deal I ever got thanks to you!
