I know that they aren't customs but sure do look like a lot of fun.

Larry Spears fastback instantly came to mind when I read the question. A lot of customs contain mods that don't quite look right. All the changes to his car are organic as if it was a straight out of a design studio. To wit:

I can't agree more. Best non-chop roof IMHO

I really like those utes. Did you bring yours over from Australia or did they make them here?

Are you sure that much was taken out? I did the chop on mine (not done yet of course) and I took 2.5 all the way around and it looks a lot like mine in the front and now I really wish I had taken more in the rear. It definitely is as perfect as one could get. Great job! now I gotta get mine in black . 1206131703.jpg

I started a thread about a Chevy coupe that someone was trying to find info on.
I'm posting a link to that thread here in case someone reading this thread knows this one .....

    I love'm all!
    This one's got a lot to recommend. Chopped, wedge sectioned (2-3 1/2 "), channeled...and a tri-carb 348!
    All owner built, including paint.

I did the firewall, and some of the interior metal work, when I worked there.
