Love your coupe. You actually drove 1,000 with a finger width between the front fender and tire?

Pretty sure it is on Snelling. I noticed it last time I was in town a year or two ago. If I'm not mistaken it's a couple doors down from My father's original speed shop's location, which I believe has been Dave Reif printing for about 40 years since we closed.

Okay, what the hell happened to the race track?! I haven't been to the fair in about twenty years. Who though pulling that out was a great idea? Everybody in my family had something at some point that went around that at speed...

All I can say is........Fosil fuels and the Twin Cities sadly don't get along. There is a "movement" trying to get it back in service. Here it is in the early days - 1937.

For the mid-morning crowd. Here are some more photos I took at BTT50's. If you're interested in attending a show with several thousand HAMB style/friendly cars, this is the show for you! Oh, and it's one hell of a party, too!

Mike Herman with H&H Flatheads had a great booth. They had numerous Flatheads on display on engine stands as well as other flathead parts.

    Perfect roadster weather this year!

I can't imagine the amount invested into paint and body on this Cadillac.
It was amazing to see up close.

This truck was driven all the way from Pennsylvania.

  27. Now if they would only eliminate the R*T%R*DS! Great show otherwise! I didn't make it this year but my brother said there were way to many rats! With that many cars I usually stay my distance when I see em!

I didn't find the number of rats too bad this year. There were plenty of great cars and trucks to see. I was there all three days and still didn't see some of the ones posted. Thanks.

I agree with rickl, the number of RR in attendance this year was way down; which is great. Hopefully it's an indication that fad is dying. I dont waste my time looking at those obnoxious builds.

As far as great quality old skool hot rods, I would say there was an increase in attendance. If you enjoy the HAMB, you would have a great time at this event.
