It's an OT car but I loved it. '73 Pontiac Ventura that started life with a 350/2-barrel and ended up with a 400 and Tri-Power. It rocked for years but finally succumbed to Northeast rust.
freshman and sophmore yrs I rode an old Cushman eagle, got a '53 Indian 80" Roadmaster with side car middle of jr yr. That was 64-68

Graduated in '80. First car was a '68 Camaro. Bought it for $600.00 when I was 15. Had my learner's permit then and could drive it with my 18 year old licensed buddy in the passenger seat. Which was handy, because you only had to be 18 back then to buy booze. The car had originally been a 6 banger with a 3 speed. Someone had swapped a 327 into it. I drove it that way until I found a 350 short block with 4 bolt mains. Then I found some 461 heads. That was my first rebuild with my dad. I wish I still had that car, but I sold it after high school and heard a few months later it had been stolen and burned, classic insurance scam.
My '39 Plymouth Pick-up, with a Buick 340, turbo 400. I was the only kid in our High School with a hot rod.
54 Stude Champion, 4 door, and that was 1975-6 Had to hot wire it to start every time, no key & no money. Jim

Class of '81. I drove a 1965 Chevy Impala SS with a 327 and an automatic. I drove it for an hour and totaled it! Back ended a mint 1967 BMW. Didn't own a car for another five years!
At one time or another: '64 Biscayne (straight 6: slow but sure footed) 71? Vega (Yuk!) 72 Buick Skylark (awesome orange colored car with 350ci with slick brown vinyl seats you would slide off when weather was humid in NJ) These were actually registered in my parents name, but I could drive them, 1st car in name was 75 Nova, slow but sure.........
68 Camaro with a 327 and a powerglide. Rockin with one sparkomatic 6x9. Bought it for 2 grand. I miss that car. It would be worth 20 grand easy.
1978 NOVA 20,000 ORIGINAL MILES BLUE/BLUE INTERIOR.I now have a clone to the that car that I`am restoring now.
1949 as a junior in hi school, my first car a 1941 Chevy club coupe, bought it from a local school teacher in Inglewood, Ca.----First thing was to add 1941 Buick fender skirts!!---Then a split manifold with Porter steel pak mufflers, NICE TONE!!---Then lowered the rear & added twin appelton spot lights, shaved the hood & rear deck, real cool!----Don

68 Barracuda. The black/ purple pearl one was my high school ride (1974). Built 273, 4 speed, 4.56 posi, lots of fun and tickets. My first attempt at custom painting, shot it on my folks driveway. Came out well enough I had a lot of paint work after that. The white pearl one was my HS sweetheart (later wife) car. Stock 340, auto 3.25 posi highway flyer. We had personalized plates, mine said "HISCUDA" and her's of course "HERCUDA". Cute, huh.

I had bought a `66 Fairlane convertible, but swapped it to my dad for this `51 Ford F1. I drove it all through my senior year, sold it a couple years later. I wish I had it back. It is now chopped and getting a makeover from its present owner....It had a 302 Ford and toploader 4 speed, American slot mags and a 9 inch with 3.50 gears..It ran good for a beater.
