I often wonder of any of these cut-away show cars still exist somewhere...

 

Check out the Checker on the left!

And the far far left taxi under the Pepsi sign appears to be a Checker as well, the Taxi at the bottom left is a 1942 DeSoto, you can see the hideaway headlights!

 

I've seen alot of old Desotos in movies from the 30's 40s 50's. Especially in NY.
They were popular for taxi service
