    There was a terrific Airflow coupe that ran at Bonneville a couple of years ago. It was especially cool in that it was running a supercharged DeSoto flathead straight 8.

    And Cokes with REAL sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup (a sweetener invented by the Japanese in 68 and in damn near everything we consume that is sweet.) You can still get em with sugar and they are much better (for both kidneys and flavor)

  18. That's the one. Ed Hagerty's , and partners Airflow. Ed passed away this year. Or was it last year, not sure, time gets away from me.

    Yes, that's it. Sorry to hear he passed away. I have photos of the car including the engine but didn't want to post them for fear of incurring wrath because the photos weren't vintage. Thanks for posting the link.

    Great picture, I wonder if that is Dick Belfatti in the far lane? He was one of the few to run a Speed Sport injector scoop. This might be an early "Shadow," he did run a TE-440 as shown here.
