Never seen a build move from the traditional way of thinking, yet still be so 'traditional'! I'm sure you've got a lot of other people thinking..
Great job, good looking car, must be a blast to drive!

That steering wheel just matches the rest of the car, fantastic! Looks even better in person.

You know... some day you're going to have to blow it all apart and get it properly finished and painted, right? It would be a wonderment to see all dolled up. Gary

    Yes.

It will have paint and upholstery, some day. :)

I never planned to have it in bare metal this long, but here in Az. we can get away with it...

    I'm not sure I showed the hood I built for it, so here are a couple of pics. 1 13 13 003.JPG 1 13 13 017.JPG 1 18 13 013.JPG 1 23 13 002.JPG 11021076_700836773368739_3149227847274105130_n.jpg

    Angle finned front drums?
I'll take a guess that it's something You whipped up.
I've always liked this car from the first time I saw it at the first HAMB drags. There is just so much going on it's hard to take in all the (top-quality) engineering.

  27. There is an upside and a down side to Alex's unibody. The upside is that you could be 8' tall and still get comfortable in it the down side is for an crippled up old fart like myself it is a bugger to get out of gracefully. :D

Mr Shapes has built a beautiful car and that's a fact. You absolutely cannot beat it in any way shape or form.
