So i ended up with an old whore of a 32 coupe body thats been passed around in the hamb hot rod circle for quite a few years now. Its the coupe body that Plowboy (Aaron Grote) bought at the big Mitchell Indiana auction at the same time he bought a 32 vicky and tudor at. The car was pretty tough and was then sold to JeffreyJames, he collected up some parts for it and had started some work on it then desided to pass it on, so this time Peterson32 (Jeff Peterson of the A.S.S. and Midwest Fab fame) ended up with it, he too collected up a few parts but the project never got off the ground. My friend Mike was contatced by Jeff about a 34 ford truck he had for sale so a deal was worked out, and actually me and Mike had worked a deal out on the coupe pending if he and Jeff worked a deal out on the coupe so in the end it all worked out, Jeff traded it to Mike for the truck and i traded Mike a half ford and half brookville 32 roadster body for, which i will be building this winter so keep and eye out for that one too.

So back to the coupe, I like 32 5 windows, i seem to have a plan in my head to have a few 32 coupes all built in different styles, i have a chopped unchanneled one, i have a unchopped unchanneled one and now a chopped and channeled one, the last one will be an east coast unchopped channeled car, neurotic i know!

so back to the coupe again, i by the time i got the car the the b-ville quarters were gone but some better doors were with the coupe ( i traded jeff some nice doors for the quarters for my roadster project that i traded for the coupe, can ya follow that one! LOL) I had known where a driver side quarter was, so i contacted my freind Cale out of thunder bay and asked if his dad still had the it, he did and it was mine, it wasnt pretty but he donated it to the project saying it isnt nice so it isnt worth anything! thanks Hugh, it helped make the car. Then it was onto a passenger side Quarter, i knew i had seen one on the hamb classified but when Ryan switched over to the new hamb all the old adds disappeared, luckily a buddy of mine had contacted him about and still had his info, so i messaged him and i had a passenger quarter, thanks Uptown82. I also had a tail section that i bought at a swap meet a couple years ago, i hadnt really a need for it but it was too good of a deal to pass up, so in the end it was fate.

Now ill post a few pics and do some more typing later with more info

and when Jeffrey james bought it

    and when he sold it

and a pic of what it looked like when i got it from Jeff Peterson other than the red primer i sprayed on some of the bare metal

So i started by sticking the doors on it so it would look a little better, i hadnt really planned to work on it but it kinda set things in motion

So thats basically where im at today, started stiching the body together yesteday and had been working on the chassis a few days last week, so its taking shape pretty fast. The below pic is the inspiration for the car, chopped channeled cadi power 32 coupe, cant get much better than that! Picture8-1.jpg

Great project! I always enjoy seeing body parts collected and turn into a finished body. Makes me wonder were my old '32 Vicky body is today. Bob

  24. Nice. Glad you broke the buy and take something off a 32 cycle. Looks like it whittled away with each guy. Well.....then it really got whittled down with you.....but she be whole again, now. Yeeha! Looks great sir.

  25. I am constantly amazed at the talent and vision and most of all determination to take what most would consider too far gone and resurrect it to live again.
