Technical TECH WEEK: Fixing the Model A door

    I’ve owned several Model A’s, one thing that always bugged me was the way the top of the door fails to follow the drip rail giving the appearance that the door is sagging The photos show how I fixed the problem, no rocket science involved, simply add a wedge shaped piece to the top of the door. 0A 2 (1280 x 960).jpg

    Great, now I can add this to the uneven hood/cowl gap that my eye seems to find on many A's. :)

    Simple and effective tech. I like it.

    Looks much better. It bugged me on my A too, but I guess it didn't bug me enough to do anything about it.

    I like it. Adds something very subtle that most wouldn't catch, but really makes a difference.

    Would those doors fit any other vehicle or just the Tudor?

    Custom bodies back in the Duesenberg and Cad V16 days, as well as customs as we know them, started by a person saying, "I can make that look better"

    This was a good tech, to show any person, with any level of skills, that you can do easy things to improve something
