Must have cut the swing arm too short and am showing empty with a little over 4gallons in the tank. This arm is a cut to length and not enough length to bend lower in the tank. My question is it possible to get just an arm & float without buying the whole sending unit? Tried the usual vendors but no luck.

No one sells just the arm that I know of. My tank also shows empty with about 3 gallons in it but I have learned to live with it and just compensate. Plus, I consider it as a "reserve" so I never run out.

Guess I'll have to learn to live with it also. Thanks for responding

Lengthen your float.. Weld a splice onto rour rod to make it closer to empty.. Start with a 3 inch addittion

Larry, already re-installed & am going to learn to live with a 4 gallon reserve for now.
