At least the first one you posted is cool (got one of those, too).

Too bad it's faux. The real deal was posted earlier in the thread. ;)

I'm on here because no one on any of the import sites actually makes anything or has any interest in fabricating anything. as far as your comments on my car i'm not going to bring my self down to the level of hate anyones car that is not exactly like yours. posted a pic of a really hard to find finned valve cover in the finned parts section and get bashed for it. maby someday people will realize that not all guys who have imports are the giant wing fart can variety and some of us actually work hard on our cars. yes this is a board for tradinal hot rods, yes i like traditional rods, thats why i never post any pictures.

  8. The finned breathers have GT on them and are seen in early 60's catalogs as GT breathers.

  10. lBB41 I really like that shifter cover. Very imaginative. I remember someone on here at one time posted pics of a gas pedal they made out of an old M/T valve cover. I like it when someone goes outside the box a little, but still keeps it hot rod looking.

  11. thanks, over the summer an older fella asked me if it was some rare speed part, I just pointed to my buddies rear and said no it's one of those..lol I do have a set of 440 M/T covers, I like that pedal idea

  12. That's the one that does it for me. One day a 4 holer like that will be on my roadster. :D

I got them while at the Turlock swap meet many years ago. They were raw castings. If I remember correctly, I bought them from H & H
