Also installed the body welt This is self adhesive and has a wax paper like backing I started by taping it Down and pressing on the welt to cause an indentation in the wax paper I then made a hole punch out of a pipe sharpened with a sander Using a plastic cutting board I punched holes in the welt Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. You're not worried that's going to block a whole lot of air from flowing through? The electric fan only operates when crawling in traffic or stopped, other than that the rad relies on flow. Just a thought.

Wanted to use an early 60's gm air cleaner It is really large, too large to use without making it fit off center The air cleaner I found was a 2 barrel so I had to use a later 4 barrel base and cut the center out of it Made the center bolt offset as well Here's a shot of amount I had to move the hole off center to clear the a/c Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B.
