This is why I love it here... Everyone is awesome... The AMX is a 69. No drive train painted Kermit green with small black stripes... Have someone coming to look at it tomorrow.. But I have one that hasn't been fixed yet... Send me a message so we don't clog up with ot stuff...
I don't know why that would confuse you, a lot of places are like that. You may have left and not given proper notice. Or when you were there missed too much time. Or maybe they didn't like your work ethic. Even if none of those things are true a lot of places won't take you back because they figure that if the job wasn't good enough to make you stay before, why would it be now ? It actually costs a company a fair bit to attract, hire and keep employees.
I left UPS to join the USAF and I left with the proper notice. That was the first time I had encountered a company that wouldn't hire a man back because he was a previous employee. As they say, "that's all water under the bridge now".
