Running moonshine... any good stories?

Stumbled across this older thread. Interesting stories. "Thunder Road" the song and movie are favorites of mine. "Thunder was his engine and white lightning was his load." Does midnight runs from Iowa to Colorado in the the late 60's for a trunk load of Coors qualify for moonshine running. Heard about it. Just sayin'.

 

I vaguely remember this movie I saw once, something about a truckload of that Coors beer headed toward Atlanta or somewhere in the south. Had some sort of OT sporty car car driving blocker, a black car if memory serves, silly decals all over it. It was popular back in the late 70's. Afraid I'm not much more help than that. If I remember, the movie wasn't all that good.
