This 1965 Buick Riviera spent most of its life in California. It still retains its original California "black" license plates and has been extremely well cared for during its life. It appears to be a mostly original and well preserved car that was recently repainted and today remains in excellent overall condition. The interior appears to be original and is in very good to excellent condition including the seats, door panels, dash board, headliner, console, etc. The body on this car is absolutely amazing. There are no signs of damage or repair. The doors, hood and trunk all fit the body with even gaps and margins throughout. Underneath, the car is all original and super solid. The floor pans, trunk pan, etc are just as straight and original as can be and still retain some factory paint. The exterior paint is extremely nice. No cracks, no bubbles, no shrinking and a nice even overall gloss. The chrome and stainless trim items are very nice and fresh. The factory accessory black vinyl top is also excellent and fits the body like a glove with no lifting or separating. The engine bay is original and clean. The car has been recently serviced. It runs and drives down the road great. The engine is strong, the suspension and steering is tight and the brakes are responsive. It has been actively driven during the last couple of years and has proven to be a great driving car. This Riviera is loaded with options including factory air conditioning. It needs a few little things to bring it up to snuff such as the inside rear view mirror adjustment knob is missing, the a/c needs to be repaired (it turns fine and is hooked up, but does not blow cold), the front power windows are sluggish (the rears work fine) and one front turn indicator is not working. The heater, the clamshell headlights, the power antenna, dash lights, and the other accessories seem to work properly. This is a great looking and honest Riviera that is about as solid as they come.
