    IF I was a professional mechanic ... I'd be fired by now...But I'M NOT!
    20160821_113321 (Small).jpg
My Buddy Gave me a "stock" oil pump...
(the Milodon pump didn't fit in stock oil pan...Needed the ground clearance!)
Tested it cleaned it up, bolted it on, clued all the gaskets on the pan...put it on...Bam. easy...
NOT! It's a rear sump truck Pump,
Had the wrong flex plate (big holes) for the converter...take it off another 340 sitting in a wooden cradle...
Chip wood out to get to the bolts...two hours of work done in one day!
    20160821_142832 (Small).jpg
    Doesn't even look like a 340 anymore...?

The tub is really looking good, Tommy. What a great home built hot rod. I especially like that injection.

Thanks for the Encouraging Words Guys!....

There's a bunch left to do but it's getting Closer! (The List is getting longer every-time I finish something.)
1st. order is to get it drive-able so I can get the Hawaii "Street Rod Registration" Going.
    Required!
    1. Wind Shield
    2. Wind Shield Wiper
    3. Seat Belts
    4. Hydraulic Breaks - 99%
    5. DOT Head Lights (I'll have to make a set of "safety check lights")
    6. Hand Break
    7. Horns
    p.jpg
    8. Blinkers
(Exhaust System is Not a requirement...! But I'm sure they can enforce Noise Regulations)

    - Roll bar / Hoop / Gas Tank Mount
    - Gas Tank / Fuel System
    - Electrical System / Wiring w. 2ea. 6Volt Batteries (limited space)
    - 37 Ford Tail Lights
    - Seats
    - And a bunch of other stuff on my list...but IT IS getting closer!

What sucks more than Not Being Able To Work On Your Old Hot Rod (NBATWOYOHR)...?

NBATWOYOHR - And having to work on your Wife's 2000 MISOBOTCHI MONTERA SPORT.
AND Installing it once just to find out that the stuff I got from E-Bay doesn't fit and is downright Dangerous!!
Ball Joints and Tie Rod Ends had the wrong taper...wouldn't torque and was binding...Lower Ball Joint (177ftp) had a stripped nut from the factory.....Wazn't made around here! (Got my 81 bucks back & YES I'M AN IDIOT FOR BYING THAT CRAP! Ordered 4 times more expensive Japanese stuff....Worked...

Just To find out the bearings are shot and one caliper is binding!

    Booooooooooooooring!

I'm sure they'll be nice n' quiet...? Mufflers are not one of the 8 requirements for "street rod registration" in Hawaii.
