Event Coverage Photos from the Rainy but Kool 2016 Relix Riot

This was my first trip to the Relix Riot held at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan. Although impending rain scared off some of the cars that would have attended, there were plenty of great ones, a stunning venue, an excellent swap meet and a lot of fun people - many of whom were old friends I had not seen in a while. Anyway - here is the start of coverage. Please subscribe and check back since there will be a lot more coming.

We where so looking forward to attending again this year as we were per-entered. When I got up and checked the forecast at 4am Saturday morning and seeing the storms moving into the Chicago area here. I decided to leave the coupe in the shop. I was looking forward to the event and hoped to meet you Dan, your work is amazing. I love your work at the Cobo Hall show, and look for more shots from this years Relix Riot. jim32

Thanks a lot fishslayer82 (great car! did I hear correctly that it will be at the Hot Rod Hill Climb?), Jalaopy Joker, Tim(whit), Gary, Jim and Jeff . I will be putting as big an effort as possible to get them up quickly, especially since now there will be a bunch of things coming up - the first is this next weekend.

 

This is actually a survivor, not restored.

If anyone knows the exact year on this one, I would love to know - I know its between 61 and 67.

 

I may be wrong, but pretty sure it's a '63....or I'm wrong
