Event Coverage Oct/Nov Socal car happenings? Vacation planning

CHRR latter part of Oct. This is a can't miss.

 

October 17-19 California Hot Rod Reunion at Famoso Raceway. With zero to light traffic, it's around 4 to 5 hours north, depending on where in SD you're staying, but well worth the trip.

The Donut Derelicts car show in Huntington Beach at Adams & Magnolia. The best FREE car show on the West coast every Saturday morning from 5:30AM to 8:30AM. About 250 vintage cars and trucks. Trust me, this is worth your time.
Also, the Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo, about a mile South of the Los Angeles Airport. This is an excellent museum and worth your time as well.

 

Gene Winfield usually has his open house the Saturday before the Hot Rod Reunion. Always fun and a wide variety of cars.

Cops and Rodders Fall Pow Wow will be a good one. It's on the waterfront inside the Embarcadero park. Sea Port Village is right there with lot's of shops, places to eat, etc close by.
