I spliced two modern ford type boxes. Sector and box. Might not be your cup of tea though. Not mine either but not many sprint car relics in my neighborhood.

  4. Following along here and on instagram. Does your friend make those frames or was that an original one?

It's an original frame that was never finished. It would be super easy to make though.

The radiator on the "bobtail T" in #6 looks very like early Citroen. I have one that I may use. Looks just the job.

Small world- I heard Chris got the sheet metal from that car- I ended up with the frame!
( and guess who lives in Danvers and wants the X- member?)
and the parts go round and round.

That makes a stunning rear shell, my boy!

  16. Ray, I used a Model A box (well parts of two I guess!) and extended the housing and sectors.

  17. It seems like I recall someone using a BMW box for cowl steering because it had a long sector? 2002 box maybe???

Thanks for the input on steering guys . I bought a 68 mopar box I'm gonna try. Not really period for this car but it will be hidden under the cowl so I thought it would be fine.

It's been over a day since an update. I need more. You have inspired me to make a tail for mine out of a Morris minor bonnet. Nice.
