Well I decided to go to the barn today and lay out some duct tape on the car to see how the number would look. I am getting excited about getting it back home and out of storage so I can really get going on it.

I am really digging the lines of the car, love the big chop and the high stance.

Looks like you'll have fun. Hope you saved the chopped out parts,so someone can fix the over chop later on. Sure makes it EZer to fix with the cut out parts.

LOL,Don't read stuff thats not there in to it,just saying really handy for next guy down the line to have parts to fix it into a street drivible car making it more sellible,vs Race car, hard chop on a race only cars is good for aero look 4 racing..

Great look to it! So you guys have reset a back in the day do'in it again trend. Thank you! Ya, I think you are on to something! You best send a picture of your Beautiful Daughter to Edelbrock Co. She's got the "something"!!! That one beats ALL. Hope SHE's on the next TROG flyer. Put that Car in a time-capsul for HER.

Thanks everyone, Steve I can't wait to get the thing done and run it around locally and make sure it will do the job. Dana, your absolutely right and I did save the pieces. I always save that stuff just because you never know. But in reality I am not planning on letting this car go my baby girl wants it and I even told her we will call it the "Ebony Special" after her name.
Jack thank you my daughter and my oldest son has actually started a modeling career last year and have both been published so far she is in two clothing magazines and my son is in one so far.

Oh yeah just wanted to let everyone know that this coupe has been sitting in the woods since 1962 the gentlemen I got it from bought it back then and never put it on the road. He just drove it around his property and up and down the road giving his grand kids and neighbor kids rides in it. This car is very HUMBLE at best. But I plan to give it another chance at life.

I did some trading and got a very nice deck lid but it was bright yellow. So I told my daughter if she scuffed it all good she could paint the deck lid.
Then I added a little artwork on it

Then I took some off and this is the finished look of the deck lid.

I scored a beautiful chassis this week for the Coupe and it almost looks as though it has never been used. I don't see any sign of wear on it at all. The crazier part is I don't see any signs of it ever being stamped with a serial number. Did Ford ever sell replacement chassis back then and if so where they stamper with a serial number? This is got me baffled because I thought the A chassis had serial numbers stamped on the rails.
