ok put me down for 35-36 3 window coupe in any condition. just as long the basic body and doors and trunk lid is there. or how about a 40 merc grill for the one that is in the garage now.

Wow! What a killer thread, had NO idea all these rides where still in good condition south of the border. Last November I went to Baja, for the Baja 1000. Actually drove a chase truck all the way to La Paz (over 1000 miles) AND back. Saw lots of old cars, mostly junkers held together with bailing wire and chewing gum. Others where rotting away out in feilds, not much left of the bodies. You are definetly living a dream come true. Bowls full of H.A.M.B. testicals waiting to be traded for one of these fine rides. hot rod ron,are you lookin for a merc 40 grill or what??just to keep my eyes open... well,i have 1 but belongs to my 40 merc coupe... but i do remember somewhere in a swapmeet or local junkyard another one...it was time go... about the 35/36 basic project...once in awhile are comin up for sale,always lookin for them....in case i let ya know,ok???

hi ron.mmmm,let me look around for your 40 grill...i know a guy wich has some merc 40 stuff but not sure about the grill anyway,the funny thing down here is you never know what you find,..you go for a car and when they open the door there is plenty more... or they say is a 31 and then is a 32,sometimes is frustrating cause you don't get what you lookin for ...but sometimes is BINGO time,you get the unexpected... you need to get used to latin style here,otherwise you go nowhere... i remember just now a 35 3w project abandoned in a field since long ago...i know the guy.he did not allow any pic... put this one on my list,one of these days will go buy it...needs everything,but is something similar you're askin for... need time anyway,car is far away...... merc 39/40 coupes are my favorites ,always lookin for that stuff anyway...

well,here a trilogy of 49/50 and 51 merc coupes i have...still waitin for full kustom treatment...soon will come theier turn,can't wait to start cutting those....
well,still another 36 3 window i rescued months ago....was sittin since some time as you can could see no rear end mounted,but we rolld it out anyway... this belongs to an aussie rodder by now,already started back to life...

hey rusk,i cannot stop myself to keep loadin,all for your fun FELLAS you're right...list is very long ....see,just think about a theme and i put the stuff on... you love zephyrs too????just bought myself a 40 3W,have no pix right now....heard of at list 1/2 more around but had NO luck to see or get them yet... stay tuned....
