Well I guess I'm overdue for some updates! Bad news about the caddi motor.... Upon further digging into the motor it's going to require a full rebuild. And as you caddi guys out there know a 390 rebuild is not cheap.. So while I'll be saving up to build one of the nastiest caddi motors around... I had a runner 302 out a 67 mustang laying around.... I know what your thinking. The hot rod gods will come and gather from all around to smite me! But don't worry. The 302 is only temporary. The caddi will still find it's place in the car at a later date!!

I spent yesterday morning in the pull-a-part snatching a t5 out of a mustang. So this is what I've got sitting in the shop ready to clean up and be painted


I'm still on the lookout for an s10 t5 tail peice to move the shifter up to a better location.

Here's how the caddi motor sits as of now in my shop.

And now that it won't be in the car for a while I'm going to start collecting parts to make a nice strong motor out of it. So if you caddi guys out there have any cool parts for this thing you would be willing to let go of let me know!

Alright its been tomorrow for 2 days !

Unfortunatly I spent most of my recent time helping a friend get his motorcycle running and cleaning up the rats nest I made out of my shop.
However I played around with my doors a bit. And I also failed to take more pictures due to a dying phone.

But here's the shake down!
I had these 32 door skins Laying around that I beat out a few years back on a yoder and a pullmax. And as previously mentioned the body line matches up about perfectly to the wide part of the body line on a sport coupe quarter! And I really liked the way it looked! Soooooo I am sectioning the inner door shell to for the 32 roadster skins. I also plan to section about an inch and a half out of the top of the door skins to make them fit the body better. Here is the few pictures I have I'll remember to charge my phone tonight and take more

Well pinkynoegg decided to come down to Cajun land to do a little duck hunting and bust out a little work on his quarter panels and lend a helping hand with getting my drivetrain in place! A few pictures from the weekend events

Got to work on a trans mount after work today. Basically just modified the stock mustang crossmember and made done mounting brackets

Me and my four legged friend spent some time in the shop yesterday cleaning up and organizing and started messing with making these 32 door skins fit. Just need to make a new peice for the top of the door skin to make it flow better with the quarters

Finally found some freed up time last night. So I got out in the shop and slapped my cowl together. Acquired a nice firewall thanks to a newly found friend here on the hamb! Much thanks btw! Just needs to be spot welded in. I know you guys like pictures. So here's some to wet your whistles

Sorry for the lack of updates guys. But I'm finally starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel. A very dim and distant light. But it's there none the less. Haha Just trying to get everything trimmed up patched and square one by one before I stick this body on the frame

Swapped some parts with a fellow hamber for some roadster stanchions and stanchion mounts. Then I proceeded to build a new windshield frame and chop the stanchions 4 inches



And now I plan to spend the rest f this beautiful Sunday drinking beer and working on the rear subrails! Have a great day everyone!
